right now we are using electronic drums, which I thought would be cool so I wouldn’t have to mess with anything, but when I took it in to get remixed I was faced with a problem. The engineer said there was so much “stuff” on the drums already that he was only able to do so much! My question I guess is is there away to get a dry signal from our Alesis D4 drum module?
This gave me some great ideas (as usual) David! I have just barely started working with transient designers, and I’m excited by the results I’m getting on drums. That multi-band version in Alloy is particularly useful. In any case, I did a mix awhile back of an electronic track and I felt the kick was way too “pillowy”, so I’m going to go back and try this. Thanks again!
