How to Create a Sample Reel to Promote Your Studio Business

Late last year I wrote an article for The Pro Audio Files on how to attract new clients to your studio (linked in video). Today, I’m sharing a video that should compliment that article by showing you how I prepare my own sample reels for promoting my mixing services online.

Also, here is the video I mentioned where I introduce The Mix Academy:

    Hey David.
Great stuff as usual. I was just wondering what advice you have to give on money. How do you make the progress from working for free to asking for a fee?. What should this fee be?.
In my experience it’s hard to suddenly ask people this.
    Any advice…
    Thanks

Thanks Paul. Great question. It can be difficult to upgrade a free client to a paid client. In my experience, you can count on losing a handful of the free clients when you finally decide to charge. Don’t get discouraged by that. You will have a learning curve, but I think I can help. I’d like to expand further on my next podcast. Is it cool to give you a shoutout for the question?

      Thanks again man!

      David
