To keep things simple I have recently revised my rates and the details of what’s included when you hire me to mix/master your music.

What are You GOING to Get for Your HARD EARNED MONEY?

  • A review of your music by an industry professional with a background as a producer and musician
  • Appropriate gain staging to help achieve maximum headroom and clarity
  • EQ techniques to help each instrument find it’s own space in the mix
  • Compression to stabilize or excite movement within the song
  • Prestine quality effects (reverb, delay, etc) to add creative character
  • A finished, mastered song ready for delivery to iTunes, your website, or a duplication house
  • For projects with 5 or more songs I include all performance stems/tracks for FREE
    • Projects with under 5 songs there is a small fee for the prints (See below for RATES)

What is NOT Included:

  • Major editing such as:
    • Pitch Correction
    • Drum Editing/Timing Correction
    • Comping of multiple takes

While proper editing is essential to the music making process (especially mixing), I feel my time serving your music is better spent in the creative process of MIXING, rather than in the tedious and time consuming tasks of editing.

The Revision Process:

Nervous about turning over your precious hard work to someone in a different country or state? I don’t blame you!

Let me ease your mind with this… Each song includes 2 rounds of revisions. The first revision is an email based list that you provide to me as a detailed way to communicate the things you’d like to hear different. This could be ANYTHING you want from a louder kick drum to a brighter (or darker) vocal. Be specific and don’t be afraid to use reference songs from other artists to communicate your desired goals for the song.

Once you receive Mix 2, you will have the option to sign off on the song and call it a finished product, OR, for the second and final revision we can hop on video chat (Skype, Google Hangouts) and I can stream to you a full quality live session straight out of my Pro Tools System. This will enable us to communicate more effectively in order to bring the song to completion. After all, my goal is to serve you so that you can release your music at the pace you desire!

MIXING RATES:

Don’t worry! I don’t charge by the hour… Rather than add to the already stressful process of finishing your record, I work on a per song or flat rate model.

Standard Mixing Package - $475 per song - Professional Mix | Two revisions included | Delivery of high quality WAV and MP3′s

Rushed Delivery Package - $675 per song - Delivered in 24-48 hrs - Professional Mix | Two revisions included | Delivery of high quality WAV and MP3′s

Learn from a Pro Package - $775 per song - Professional Mix | Copy of my “Mix Template Series” product | Two revisions included | Delivery of high quality WAV and MP3′s | A custom video tutorial where I will give you an in depth walk through of how I mixed your song. This will include my thought process in starting the mix and cover things such as problem areas, challenges and the solutions that I used to deliver the results. | The Pro Tools Session File that I used so you can see my entire workflow and copy from it for your other songs!

Performance Tracks are included (FREE) when you hire me to mix 5 or more songs! For 4 songs and under or just for singles, the price is $100 per song.

Don’t forget… MASTERING IS INCLUDED FOR ALL MIXES! However, if you prefer to take my mix to a different mastering engineer, I will provide a NON mastered version with appropriate headroom as necessary.
